It's Spring

It's finally spring and we're out of hibernation! It reached close to 75 yesterday and today, so it was time to do some major gardening and also play volleyball so Lauren could get ready for another tournament this weekend in the Amish town of Lancaster.

Granny's birthday was this month, so we celebrated with our neighbors and Dean ordered an ice cream cake from Baskins and Robbins - it was so good! Yes, Brendon is taller than me now. I look like a midget now, especially since I've shrunk.

Brendon and his partner playing Varsity doubles yesterday and won 6-0, 6-0. Way to demolish them boys!

Go number #8! Lauren at her volleyball tournament last weekend. They were doing really good until they played against the amazon girls that didn't look 13. They were so so tall. They beat the team above which looked more their age. Lauren is a middle blocker and did excellent. She got invited to play with another team a level above during Memorial Day weekend in Pittsburgh. Should be fun.

Brendon winning his JV tennis match on the first singles court (top court). He won in two straight sets and is still undeated in both JV and Varsity. The boy in the video was so upset he lost and cried afterwards. Way to go Brendon!
