Ice-Skating Anyone?
Over the weekend we went night sledding, or perhaps we should call it night sledding on ice. The kids even managed to play soccer on it and also basketball without putting a dent into it. We received 6 or more inches of pure ice for 24 straight hours. Dean missed it since he was stuck in Florida until he finally got a flight out Monday (today). Poor thing; he needs to take another flight out in a few hours to California. The kids and I tried shoveling so the mailman could get to our mailbox. We finally managed after a couple of hours and now we are so sore from all the shoveling and sledding. Sledding was so much fun, especially in the dark. We hope to get rid of this ice soon. Last Wednesday the kids and I were in shorts and sandals since it was 80 degrees. Hope we're back in our shorts soon. Did you notice that Brendon's tooth is back to white? The bleaching is working so far and the endodontist did a great job on his root canal. He goes back today for his 3rd bleaching. He's happy that he's not a hillbilly anymore.
