Updating blog

Hi family,

Just updating as a lefty. Elbow surgery went well after our vacation. Just a couple more months of rehab. Vacation was awesome, especially seeing all the family. Pictures, pictures, and more pictures.

Denver was beautiful. Clare is so cute and got along with her cousins really well, especially playing hide and seek. Drew is just so precious and I loved holding him. Hope to see the Bailey's really soon!!

Off to Viva Las Vegas. Ouch...it reached 117 while we were there. Took the kids to see a Vegas show called LaReve at the Winn Hotel. It was great!! Dean won $250 on video poker at The Flamingo while the kids and I went swimming. We couldn't believe it. Brendon loved going through the Ferrari display.

Next adventure to the Grand Canyon. It was more than we expected. It was incredible and our cabin was overlooking the rim. It was breathtaking. Dean and I got up at 5 a.m. to see the sunrise. Very memorable while the kids snoozed. We also hiked 3 miles on Uncle's Jim's trail in honor of Uncle Jim. Here's Uncle Jim's amazing outlook before we headed on another loop back to the lodge. Dean only ventured out there.

To Sunny California. The kids managed to boogyboard everyday and Lauren evened tried surfing at San Onofre. We loved seeing everyone on both sides of our family. We miss them all so much and hope to see them really soon. Please come out and visit!! The kids will be starting Junior High and High School so don't miss out before they're off to college.

How did Debra get to California without the kids?
